ok, i've ignored the fuel prices update as i can't be bothered to update it every so often.
I simply copied all the files within the radars.rar to the uk maps folder, then ran the activate patch.
I want to be able to follow both mobile and fixed (gatso) cameras like i had before, so how can i do this and how do i get tt to say "warning gatso ahead, etc"?

you only need 2 files from radars = Safety_Cam_UK_PremiumOv2.ver , Safety_Cam_UK_Premium.ov2 which are fixed and mobile cameras.

Like redband said above you only need to copy the 2 files to your map folder, then you must run autoactivate, {updates do not require updating, only the first time per map upgrade.} You set alerts in TomTom Services > Saftey Alerts > Change Warning Prefrences
The most up to date UK Premium cams are attached

thank you very much redband and DJC. I've managed to setup the cameras too now. My only issue is, will this setup both the gatso and mobile cameras or will i still need to change the POI options?
Also how can i add voice files?
thanks a million guys :)

The premium cams are both Fixed and Mobile cams ;) there is no POI option for tomtom officiall cams all settings are in TomTom Services > Saftey Alerts. You add the premium voice files in the same way as the cams copy the files from the voice archive but this time they go into the folder on the root of your device called "Voices" , then run AutoActivate to patch ;)

sorry that i haven't been in touch, but just had a few problems at home. I haven't even had the time to test the tomtom as yet.
Anyway its just a quick message to really say thank you to DJC, redband, ten driver and anyone else who has tried to help me. Guys I really do appreciate your help.
I will be in touch, but a Big Thank You once again.
take care

Actually you only need to copy the Safety_Cam_UK_Premium.ov2 file to the map folder. The Safety_Cam_UK_PremiumOv2.ver file is nothing but a file that lists the version & serves no other useful purpose.

Hi! I am new to this forum, and have just updated my tt go 520, I have installed the latest navcore 9.205, and also installed the western and europe maps, it originally had just the UK and ireland, everything is working fine, as I followed the threads above, but the only thing so far that seems to be a problem, is that the seven digit postcode search no longer works, only the first 4 digits! any help would be great, and thankyou to all the posters in here,

LATEST POSTCODES Version 860 (GREAT BRITAIN AND NEDERLAND) Postcode v860Extract and copy the "Zip" folder to the root of your TomTom.
