Update on TomTom Go 710

Hello everyone, I need to update tomtom maps of this but I have USB cable, it was a gift, they are inexperienced, I can Update on anyway?
I can load maps directly on the card directly from my PC?
how can I fix this?

Yes, you can update your GO 710 without a USB cable, as this model only has a card slot (and no internal memory).
Just insert your SD card into a card reader on your laptop or pc. First make a complete backup of the original contents of the card. Remove your old map, copy across your new map. Patch the map and navcore with FastActivate.

What navcore & map are you trying to use?

map 870.3391 and 870.3406

Confirm that the 8.204 navcore is patched.
Confirm that the maps are patched by seeing a .meta & a .meta.dct file in the 3391 & 3406 map folders.
