I don't know what device you have but it sounds like a mongrel/hybrid to me.

Hippy wrote:1. Is there by chance another link to D/L maps that will let me get all of the pieces at once without being out of pocket?

A. I get I need to put the system file on my device and reboot.
Questions:
1. I take it I need to unzip all 7 of the RAR files, one is a . e x e file or does the .e x e file unzip and compile the other 7 files?
2. After I reboot with the new system file, do I need to run the navcore before messing with the map file(s)?
3. Can I just delete the current maps from the map folder and copy the maps over?
I want to get this right the first time. :-)
Thanks in advance!
tendriver wrote:3. Why is there a map on a new card? Remove the ENTIRE old map folder. When you autoinstall the new map, it will create it's own folder. REMEMBER to copy your device's ttgo.bif file to the card before you load the map.
Hippy wrote:Oh yea,, TT Home gives me a message, something about a device miss match with the navcor, or something but it still lets me D/L voices and other things..
Is this something that can be fixed or just don't worry about it?
