Hi all; while my trusty Go730 is in dry dock, I have dug out an old unit I have.

It is a Blaupunkt Lucca 3.3 unit that I added Tomtom Navigator to a while back, getting rid of the existing map software. I remember when I did it it took a while (and I think fatboyfun's tutorial) to get it working fine. All the data is on the unit, and I seem to remember only using an SD card to alter the sys.txt files etc and to patch (?).

It is still working fine, but outdated. Cant even remember if it is WinCE 4.2 or 5.

Couple of questions:

Will this work with Tomtom home to update? I presume I must have used a patched Navigator and maps for it to work.

It currently has Navcore 7.450 on it and the 880 series UK & ROI map. Looking at the comparison table, I should be able to put on 940.5966.

You can update the maps with the existing navcore, just use the WM WINCE compatible maps.

There hasn't been any software updates.
