Updating my TomTom 325 S

I'm looking for some advice with updating my TomTom and want to gather as much info and not end up bricking it.

I've connected it to TomTom Home and it shows that it is a TomTom XL 325 S.
My TomTom only has internal memory, which is nearly full and no memory card slot.

This is the current device info,

App 8.082 (9667/090715)

Map: 'United_States' v835.2423

Can anyone please recommend a version of navcore that is the latest and best for my device?

Also i'm looking for the latest maps, is the United_States_865_3262 the correct ones to get for my device?

Any advice would help.

Your current navcore is the lastest & best for your device.
US 865.3262 is perfect for your device.

I downloaded the United_States_865_3262 with Automatic Installer & Patcher and installed it on my TomTom but when i switch it on it says Problem with map You cannot use this map on this device: United_States.

How do i fix this?

By patching your navcore with the patcher included with the map download.

Ok thanks. I thought the Automatic installer did the patching when you installed it. Works perfect now thanks.
