Do both the 9.205 and the 9.004 have the same features? If not what are the main differances?

You can't tell any difference between the 2.

I downloaded the auto install 9.205se navcore and it seemed to be fine. It runs faster and smoother than the original. I like the new look and features. So far everything except the voice instructions works. The jukebox and fm works well. How do I get voices to work? I upgraded with tthome and added a computer voice, it didn't work. I tried a voice from the site, added the files and ran fastactivate but still no voice commands. Any suggestions?

You can try to overwrite your files with the ones from the archive attached.
If you can see and select the voices but they stay silent it might work.

If you had installed 9.205 as I do, re-read post 14, you would not have lost your voices.

I opted for a fresh install to ensure all the extra bloating was removed. I did get the voices working. I cycled the speaker settings to bluetooth without connecting a bluetooth device, when the go730 could not find a bluetooth device it defaulted back to internal speaker and the voices worked. O then reset the speaker to internal and it continued to work. Thanks for all your help guys, this is a fanyastic forum and an incredidble group of guys running it! I am very happy with my device and the upgrade results. Now I am going try to create my own map colors.

The TT Team sez, "You are Welcome. Thanx for the kind comment. Enjoy!!"

FFR, there is no "extra bloating" installing as I do. However, TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation navcores are setup to work on many different devices, & there is "extra bloating" installing one of them.

The "extra bloating" I was refering to was from the 175mb navcore 3.051c that I had put on at first, I wanted to ensure all of that was removed so a wiped the device clean and started over. As for your suggestion in post #14 I chose not to try that as I wasn't sure about the patching part, perhaps one day I will be comfortable trying that but not today. Thanks again guys.
