I am a newbie here and I have searched the forum and am trying to find the steps for upgrading the maps on TomTom One XL from Mac. I am sure its been discussed before, But I cant find it. Can someone please send me the link to the thread.

I don't know what you've installed on your MAC, but afaik the easiest way is to an Emulator like Wine for the activating the map(s).
You can copy the files for new Navcore on the device (assuming that you can access it) , same for the pre-patched files for the SE version and the map.
When finished you start FastActivate (or AutoActivate) in an emulator and activate the map.

So you can basically follow the normal instructions except that you need an Emulator for the activation of the map.

You could try the attached although I'm not on a mac so don't know how good it is:-

Here are the instructions on how to use the file on mac os, first download the file and save it on your desktop, open terminal and type:

1) cd Desktop
2) sudo chmod 777 tt8_keygen
3) sudo ./tt8_keygen

and then just follow instructions from there.
