Good afternoon,

I'm visiting my Uncle tomorrow in South Africa, and bought him a TomTom Go 920 in Europe.
The TomTom has the latest Navcore installed, but there are no South African maps available for the latest Navcore.

Is it possible to downgrade to a lower navcore and find a compatible map somwhere?

The CURRENT OFFICIAL GO 920 navcore is 9.510, which can use ANY MAP, except the Europe Truck map.

How exactly? I mean, there's no META data available right?

1. Yes there are.
2. The CURRENT OFFICIAL GO 920 navcore is 9.510, which can use ANY MAP, except the Europe Truck map. The point is you don't have to downgrade to a lower navcore and find a compatible map somwhere.
