I have a TomTom 750 Live with Navcore 9.510.1234792103
I have downloaded a USA map 9707491, but FastActivate does not work. The programm starts but quickly disappears without showing the menu options.
Who can help me with this problem?

Now I have the USA map on my TomTom but still no GPS signal here at home in Holland.
Is that normal? Should I be in the USA to get the GPS signal?

No you must have a GPS signal. Use FastAktivate number 6. After that a reset and lay the device in the open air for a least 20 minutes.

Do you have a local Benelux map installed as well as the USA map? You should have the space available for both, then use the switch map function when in the USA.

I think if you install a local map for your region, you will get a satellite lock for that map but you'll have to wait until you're in the USA to get a lock on the USA map.

I only have the USA map on my device. But after waiting a bit longer in the open air I got a signal. So problem solved. Thank you for your help !
