Vocalizer files for tomtom xl

I am trying to update my daughters xl (no SD card slot) have upped it to 814 and 860 map and all running fine but would like the computer voices for the ALG. I understand I need vocalizer tts for this but the only links I can find are for megaupload sites which are now dead.
Can anyone point me to a link please?

1. The 860 maps are 5 editions out of date.
2. A computer voice is not required for ALG.
3. NONE of the voices in the Navitotal VOICES VocalizerTTS thread are on Megaupload. Only the Serena link is down.
4. Seek & ye shall find.

Sorry I really meant that I want the unit to read the directions street names etc, senior moment, but please bear with me I am 62 lol.

I found the link to the vocalizer voices but the link says the files are no longer available.

Maybe he is not too familiar with the forum structure.
You can find the Vocalizer voices here and they work.
You have to type in the captcha and press Enter, after that you get to the link.

Ok the only english voice file available on that link is samantha US all the others say they are unavailable or have been removed have downloaded the samantha cab and installed it in a file vocalizertts, is this correct? As it doesn't show on the device.
Sorry if I am being a bit thick here.

Karen Aus EN is still good.

If you open the VocalizerTTS folder that you created, there should be 2 folders & 4 files.

Hmmm thats where the problem is then all I have is an endless list of files. When I downloaded the cab file if I click on it it opens up to a whole host of individual files no folders.
Any idea what I have done wrong??

Delete your VocalizerTTS folder.
Download this Samantha.rar. [Please Register or Login to download file]
Left click on it, but do not unzip it. You will see a VocalizerTTS folder. Left click the folder. Hold the left click button down & drag the folder to the root of your unit.
Now see if it shows up in Voices, Change voices.

Try again please!!

I went thru 5 pages of a google search, but had no luck finding Serena.
The file hosters are deleting files by the thousands since the megaupload raid. Hopefully the current situation will settle down in a few weeks.

Thanks for trying I had the same problem today, could only find that cab file which didn't download correctly. At least I have sound now even if it is with an American accent. Sorry to be such a pain, was flushed with success after doing my 710 so decided to do my daughters xl and got stuck again but hey I am learning lol.
