ALG (lane guidance) doesn't use voices. Computer voices are needed to read out street names, etc. Tim sez "turn left". A computer voice sez "turn left Main street". 64MB units use Loquendo computer voices, & 32MB units use vocalizer computer voices.

AGL is a map feature, not a navcore feature. 850.2820 maps do not have have AGL.

Do you mean 850.2781? If so, yes it has ALG, but as I said, AGL doesn't use a voice. As to whether you have any voices on your unit, go to Change preferences, Voices & see what is there.

ALG is just pictures like tendriver said there is no voice, the voice is determind by whatever voice you have selected, here is a pic below of ALG, It is a feature you will not see much unless you do lots of motoway driving.

Thanx for the kind comment. Unless you have another issue with computer voices, we will mark this thread solved.

Yep you read it in post 2. They do it the same way, but with Loquendo computer voices.
