Voices [Solved]

Hi all

I recently installed latest Truck map on Go720, Just realised that my computer voice that reads out street names, directions etc does not work, tried reloaded onto map sd card but still nothing. Real voice works ok for directions but doesnt do street names and warnings

Any suggestions

Do you have a folder named Loquendotts aprox 80/90 MB.

I have one called Loquendotts at 122mb

And you have choosen the computervoice.
Reset your device.
Use a straightened paper clip, or something similar,
to push the reset button for at least 20 seconds.
Turn your device on.
Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds

Just followed all that but no change

Tried it a couple of times, but still no computer voice

Wich navcore you use. 9.702 original patched or an already patched navcore.

I dowloaded europe truck 760 7082, and navcore and fast activate, loaded onto sd card and all works fine apart from computer voice. normal voices work ok but they dont read street names and warnings etc. I am very computer illiterate and just followed instructions given to me on this site by tendriver to install etc

I suppose Tendriver have a sollution. Everything seems fine to me.

Take everything off of your SDHC card. Copy your complete working back-up onto your card & confirm that it is working properly, including computer voices.
If all is well, copy new truck navcore, 9.702, onto your card, overwriting all common files and folders. Patch 9.702 if not already patched. Confirm that this set-up is working properly, including computer voices. If so, remove old map folder, and copy in new map folder. Confirm that this set-up is working properly, including computer voices. If so, take a deep breath, let out a sigh of relief & enjoy!!
BTW, don't forget to copy extras like speedcams from the old map to the new map.
