Weird problem with TTGO710 from my uncle.

Hello all,

I have a weird issue with my TTGO710 from my uncle.

In the car it isent working, the green light shows up, but when you try to turn it on, it doesent work.
The screen stays black. Tried this at 3 cars the same issue.

When i plug-it in the home it works screen pops out.. what can be the problem?

1. You tried 3 cars with the same charger? ;)
2. You use a USB charger and cable at home?
3. Maybe the car charger is not original TT?
4. Does it hold a charge?

If you used different chargers / docking stations the most likely cause is a faulty port on the TT.
It can happen that a solder connection on the connector breaks.

He is using the chargingcable what he gets with his TTGO710.

it works fine, screen pops out....

PS: the TTGO710 doesent work without charging, so you need it work trough cable is see..

The 710 still has a battery inside (at least to my knowledge).
I would try a different dock for the car or open it to check the connectors.
They had a common problem where one or more contacts deformed or even dislodged as well as broken solder connections.

I have used my own doc, because i have the some TT
But still there the same issue, when i pluged in it here at home in the dock, it works properly and it stays on, so the battery isent dead....
Now it turns on what can be the problem???
