Hi,
I am new to the world of TomTom and recently obtained an One IQ Routes which is on Navcore 9.541, Boot 5.5136 and Western & Central Europe 2gb maps v825.2157

I looked for the tutorials but couldn't understand what the procedures for such NAV2 devices are (there is info for NAV3). I am planning to download the Europe_West_1090_11489 package but how should I proceed next? Do I need to patch the firmware or just the maps? Do I use FastActivate or something else too?

Do I understand correctly that the only update I can do is on the maps, not the software itself?

1) Copie the selected map to your Device in his own folder.

If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
(plain map no speedcams,poi,etc)

2) Download FastActivate.

Run "FastActivate.exe"
Select 10
Select 1
Select 2
Select 3 If it is already been patched no harm is done
Done.

3) Give a 15 sec reset and start the device if everything works fine
just then you can ad speedcams etc to the map
