My Son's TT ONE v3 Traffic updated itself through HOME recently. We were travelling back from London yesterday, along the M4 and the compass no longer appears to make sense.
As a pilot, like I am, he used to have the compass showing on the map indicating the direction of travel and with the heading superimposed. Last night it appeared to be a mirror image of what we would have expected, ie the arrow was pointing behind us when going west. When we turned left, the needle turned right and vice-versa. When he selected the heading, which can now be shown in the data bottom right, it was correct.
Neither of us rely fully on the TT to get to destinations, and it is nice to have a quick reference to direction of travel; the compass used to be very good for that. Digital is OK if you are used to what the numbers mean but the compass was always much better for giving the 'Situational Awareness' of where you were going. What is it telling me now, if anything?
