What a sort of the micro SD card's class is compatibile with

Hi,

My ttgo 750 spec:

RamDiskVersion=20120321
BootLoaderVersion=55277
LinuxVersion=842337
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9430
ApplicationVersion=890926.1
CurrentMap=Europe
CurrentMapVersion=895.4438

There is already the Europe v895.4438 map installed on it. But, I do not know what the fastest class of the micro SDHC card is compatibile with tt go 750 ?

I'd like to upgrade my existing Kingston 4GB micro SDHC card, because it seems that it's very slow while in operation at all. This card is SDC4/4GB, so, belongs to class 4

On Wikipedia I've found, there are classified of 2, 4, 6, 10 speed classes, but, is e.g the 10th class compatible backward with slower classes, so that I could buy and use for instance class 10 without problems in my dev? Actually, at what the top speed my tt go 750 is capable to operate with the micro sdhc card type?

Cheers for advice!

Your 750 is completely compatible with ANY brand (I use SanDisK, Kingston and Lexar), ANY size, ANY class (I use 2s & 4s, without any detriment to the operating speed) SD/SDHC card.

1. There is not any speed data available.
2. As stated in post 2, your 750 can use ANY class 2, 4, 6, or 10. But on a TomTom, a class 10 is no faster than a class 2.
3. There is not a test for this.

OK. So, for me there is no point to buy faster micro card, because of its slow interface class 2 of ttgo 750 dev
THX!

Exactly. As stated in post 2, "I use 2s & 4s, without any detriment to the operating speed".
