If there are say 9 files, do you have unzip them all and then install them all to your device?

If there are nine files, and they have filenames that include part 1, part 2, etc, or ending in r00, r01, just put them all in the same directory and use a good extraction utility like winrar to extract the first part only, winrar will recognize it's a split archive and sort it all out for you.

In short, find the first part and unzip that and the rest will be done automatically.

Just what I suspected.
