Unexpected end of archive usually means the download was either interrupted or it's corrupted somehow, Could your malware protection be interfering with the download?

The latest Winrar version should be used.
Normal Rar files never trigger a scanner, only if they contain a suspicious exe file which is not the case for the normal maps.
I suspect 2 things:
1. wrong Winrar version
2. file downloaded files are corrupt

Since you have the problem with 2 maps, is it possible you use a download manager?
You can also use the check function in Winrar to see if the files are ok.

Well got it via laptop so may be a win rar problem on desktop.
Europe_TRUCK_885_4056
Anyway it seems the northbound dartford xing is ok now but there seems quite a few main roads that have truck restrictions:thumbdown:. i cannot remove some of them for some reason. the main one i have actually driven on is a361 from barnstable to the m5junction. its ok going to barnstable but plenty of restrictions on that stretch of road.have been able to remove some of them but some just wont go.
will download the previous map and see how that works.which is best navcore ,dont like the one posted for new truck map.http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?3248-Navcore-8.396-Truck-DSA-version

downloaded 1st one on list.
thanks for advice so far guys.

just A BIT OF AN UPDATE
885 4056 SEEMS TO BE WELL UPTO DATE REGARDING NEW JUNCTIONS /ISLAND ETC BUT IT DOES SEEM THERE ARE A FEW (sorry caps) roads that have immovable truck restrictions on it.(which are not necessary)
880 3845 which seems to be the previous map has the same updates but as yet i have not found the same restrictions anywhere,so this map seems the better option.
looks like some people have submitted the truck restrictions either out of pure malice or they have done it to stop trucks (legally) passing their house and tom-tom seem to have accepted the "corrections" without a proper check.
Been checking 880 3845 and all seems well up to now.there are still a couple of "restrictions " on the dartford crossing northbound but you will just have to do map corrections as usual.
hope that helps guys

Forget downloading the last 2 maps if you want to get anywhere using a truck in the U K.
I have found motorway "blocked for trucks" weight height and width restriction on motorways plus many other places.
Can't trust it so won't be using it, will stick to 3845 version for now.
