Wrong time on TomTom

Postby Ton » Thu May 27, 2010 3:26 pm

Hi there,
I installed TomTom on my mio moov 500. Everything works, but it doesn't display the correct time.
In gps-status it syas "using otnher NMEA GPS-receiver" and it shows the UTC time minus one hour. On the display it showst a current time that is however 10 hours behind ?
I cannot find any way to sychronize these settings.
Suggestins are more than welcome !
Regards,
Ton

You need to set the time zone on the device to your location, This will probably reset itself after every reboot though.

Mortscript may be handy, I am not handy with Mortscript !
What should I changed there to get the correct time on TomTom, as I wrote: there is no setting I can find to adjust the time.
Help=appreciated

To be honest i could never get this to work properly, On my WinCE 4.2 device it's easier to set the time zone manually using the devices control panel before starting TomTom, However it might be worth looking into the navman unlocker program which works on the mio moov, It does have an option to set the time zone but it requires you to edit some text files. From memory it's at something like navman unlocked wiki spaces.

You're right here ! I just adjusted the time on the device control panel and TomTom comes up with this time as well !
It's just a small inconvenience, but I'm glad it is fixed.
