Help! I had a working tt truck map etc. (core 8.396 & map version 855) and i updated my nav this evening which has updated the core to 8.398 and now the tt wont accept the truck map and/or any truck attributes!! I tried the autoinstaller for the new 860 truck maps and still the same result????? Can anyone help?

foot note: At least i backed up my sd card before i updated it, so can reinstall working tt truck!

Hi - By 'updating' I assume you mean on TTHome. Have you repatched your ttsystem file? I had a (real) TT Work GO 730 that updated from 8396 to 8398 no problem except that I'd previously patched the ttsystem to get 860 map running, and had to re-patch the new ttsystem .. obviously. All works fine.

"Bricked" is an emotive term... which clearly doesn't apply in this case since you re-installed your back up! Calm down dear, it's only a ttsystem that needs patching...

A piece of cake. Your new navcore is not patched. Download & install this Pre-patched ttsystem file. Pre-patched ttsystem
