x40 will not connect to pc after last update

Using the se navcore 8.412 on my 740 and it all seems to work ok including my live services but I cannot get it to reconnect to my pc now.

Any ideas?

Hold the reset button for 30 seconds (See pic below for what reset button looks like)
Then hold the on button for 5 seconds untill it turns on (You should get the black config screen)
Plug in your usb
Press the reset button once
Turn on the unit and it should connect directly to the PC

Thanks for the super prompt reply but my 740 doesn't have that reset button. I have tried a soft reset by holding down the powerbutton for 15 seconds.

Don't worry, I'm obviously being a div, its ok now.

if you dont have the reset button, the on/off button acts as the reset you must hold that for 30 seconds instead and follow the instructions above,

Is it all fixed now tho ???
