XXL and Text to speech

Postby eldouardo59 » Sat May 12, 2012 11:12 pm

Hello,

I've just receive my Tomtom XXL and after upgrade to 9.430 navcore, tomtom home says that's i can't use TTS voice because it's not available for my device, but on the tomtom website, tts is available.

How can I solve it?

Regards

Close the message & continue with what you were doing. When you are thru with TT Home, disconnect your XXL & re-select your voice in Main Menu, Change preferences Voices.

Thanks for your answer but I think it's not so easy because into ttgo.bif, "TTS,TTSUncompressed,TTSCompressed,TTSLoquendo700,TTSNuance51" are put in the "UnsupportedFeatures" section.

That does not mean much, a 32mb ONE classic is official not able to use ALG, IQ routes or TTS, but still people use it;)
Have you tried the fullbackup that I uploaded or the SE ttsystem to start with?
