i managed to get a xxl classic of ebay cheap i have updated the navcore using tomtom home up to version 9.510 (it wont go any higher)
downloaded the new map europe west 950.6492 got it all to work but when i connect it to home it says (problem with map. you cant use this map on this device) i have patched home. i have serched the forum but cannot find a answer any help would be appeciated.

check if u have tomtom home installed in the original location. mine is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\TomTom HOME 2

Download & unzip this pre-patched 9.510 TTHome rar. [Please Register or Login to download file]
Copy the unzipped folder to the appropriate extensions folder below. Then give it a go.

With XP
C:\Documents and Settings\ User Name\Application Data\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\?????????.default\extensions\

With Vista, Win 7 or Win 8/8.1
C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\TomTom\HOME\Profiles\?????????.default\extensions\

With Mac:
User's_Home/Library/ApplicationSupport/TomTomHOME/Profiles/????????.default/Resources/Extensions/
[email protected]/?-???- ????-/.framework

i found the navcore folders there are 3 . i assume these are the updtes

1. Disregard the ( " target="_blank" target="_blank )
2. The unzipped folder goes in the "extensions" folder.
