Postby henri_p » Mon Sep 06, 2010 8:24 am

I have Igo 8.3 running with a Taiwan map, although the map is mostly English a lot of info is in Chinese, which is only showing squares, very annoying. I tried already to find a solution trough google and forums but untill today i'm still seeing squares... can anyone help me ?? :unknw_mini:

You probably need the Chinese language file that goes into content\languages. Sorry I don't have it.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

The problem is the character set. iGO uses Tahoma and TahomaBd, in these character sets the chinese characters are not included.
You have to look for a set (ttf) with chinese characters, rename this sets to Tahoma and replace in the the igo directory.
