We need a new banner for our forum !

Since a new banner affects everyone we thought to make a contest out of it.

Every registered member can take part except our team members.

The guidelines are as follows :
- Size min. [color="red"]520x110[/color] pixels up to standard screen resolutions. It is best to use higher resolutions if possible... Please upload your artwork with an image hoster like [Please Register or Login to download file] or similar and post the miniature preview.
That safes our ressources and we thank you for doing it.
- Full color allowed
- You can use 3D- and transparency effects
- Format : PNG and GIF only!
- The design is up the user except for the following restrictions :
- Original lettering NaviTotal.com in the correct font must be used
- Text Unlock The Power Of Your GPS must be placed under the lettering in a smaller font - and again the correct font must be used.

[color="red"]Please make sure that the banner is saved in the transparent mode so that it can be easily integrated into the forum skin.[/color]
Additional to your banner for the english section we would like to have all banners in both languages, so you would have to add a second banner in the same layout but with the german slogan "[color="blue"]Nutze alle Möglichkeiten deines Navis[/color]" - in the original font.

The contest will end on the 25.09.2010

Important info : Every entrant agrees in the event of winning to cede the rights of his artwork to NaviTotal.com.
As a matter of course there will be a permanent note left in the forum for the creation of the banner.

We will open a new section where you can post your artwork for this contest soon.
In there we will vote and nominate the winner too.

Speaking of winning - What can you win ?
Apart from the fame that your banner will be used for our forum you will receive 400 Rapids from Rapidshare.


Conditions of participation :
Every registered member except our team members can enter with one (1) banner.
If absolute necessary you upload your banner in several sizes if you do it in a single post and every picture has a meaningful name.

Don't try to create a new account to post more banners as doing so will automatically eliminate you from the contest.

Please post only banners in this thread, if you want to start a discussion about the contest please open a new thread for it.
When you post your banner please include a short story on how you found our forum and why you think your banner should be the winner.
The poll will start once the contest is over and after the 25.09.2010 no new banners are accepted in this thread and if posted they will be deleted without comment.

Well, I found this forum while searching GPS software. I found it for a place where I can find the last useful tools for managing my GPS maps and software.

The banner that I've made is dedicated to the geographic navigation (the compass on left) and to NaviTotal.com (this forum). I made it just for fun, not for the reason to win in any matters. I think that this forum deserve a banner and a nice logo.

story : actually i'm the old member of the GPSU*******d before the site got problem...after the site recover, i got msg from somebody, not remember who that told me about this new website.

why i can win? : actually not for win, but for fun. i just do this bcoz i own so many from this site that provide great info especially from all sifu that contribute to this site... so by doing this, i also can contribute other thing to this site hehehe

We need the banner to be saved with transperncy to be able to integrate it correctly into the forum skin.
So if you can and not already have update/add your banner with transperency and post it.
