The application starts and the following message:
Failed authentication.
Make sure you have the latest licensed version!
What to do? thank you

Try to disable your Wifi before using

Does not work, and never will, it calls home all the time. Turn off wi fi and it complains saying it must have internet connection to activate, if you do it says activation failed, you can't win either way.

you can prevent it from calling home by making those entries to /private/etc/hosts:

127.0.0.1 garmin.com
127.0.0.1 gold.garmin.com

you have to do it before the first start. But do it after installation, otherwise the installer fails.

it does not work yet!
Now a pop-up window opens and it says:
Activation of topographic maps requires a Wi-Fi. I have.
Then nothing happens!

There is a new extension on Cydia, for iPad (I have iPad2): Fullfoce. This is very usefull for "Garmin USA" or for "Garmin Europe". It makes a full screen, HD application instead of the suck "2X" buton.
