Hello, i have just purchased the iphone 4 and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for any "jailbreak" software?? I know i need this so i can put tomtom on the mobile!! Thanks in advance!!!

The jailbreak you require will depend on the version of iOS you are running

I suggest you start with tiny umbrella and save your SHSH blobs ASAP this will give you the ability to restore to any software version you have blobs saved for even when Apple do not allow that version to be installed any more...

That is a very important step for any jailbreaker !!!

As for which jailbreak tool... There is a jailbreak for 4.2.1 but there are problems and tools are still in beta... Wait for a final release from either the dev-team, comex, chronic dev or iH8snow

for installing cracked apps you will also require appsync from hackulo.us

after greenpois0n is installed use the loader app to install cydia

load cydia and select manage

select sources

select edit

select add

enter cydia.hackulo.us

then install appsync for 4.0+

now you can install tomtom app :D
