You need a satellite lock to enable speed cameras, you won't have that on an emulator.

You could try taking the entire setup from a working device and see if they remain enabled once on the emulator.
You'll probably need to set up the emulator to match the device as close as possible.

I could see that for Speed Camera you need Satellite lock, however Red Light Cameras are not speed related and they don't work in the Emulator either.

Correct. In iGO8, you also needed to have a satellite lock just to see the option to turn on the red light cameras. In Primo no lock is necessary. Except that you can only visually see the red light cameras but no audio will happen.

@chas521, you are right, I can see the red light camera but NO visual or audio warning in the emulation. Do you know the reason beside that there is no satellite lock. If I understand the reason, I might be able to work around it somehow.

BTW, how are you doing, I remember you from the days of the Amigo and our common Mio 320/520. My c320 still works perfectly as a spare and I have both the Amigo and Primo installed on it. Today I mostly use a 2Din unit in my car.

Thanks for asking my friend. It's been a long time since we communicated. Actually, if I remember correctly, we go back to the original GPSU [when it was good and not this current fiasco]. It's good to know that you're still around. :023:

I'm pretty sure your emulator is working on a computer. Am I correct? Unless your computer has a GPS chip inside, there's no way to lock onto satellites. Also, the audio necessary to hear red light cameras was compiled using WinCE. I'm pretty sure your computer can't read the files for that. But I can be wrong.

Yes, I am still around. I have been using GPS forever and got really involved with the My Amigo Skin.

I've always liked Amigo with the freddysam skin much better than Primo and iGO8 better than Amigo.
