hai Kalaiyan... why doesn't this map work? i installed as \sdmmc\mapking\maps\SGMY_Oct2010 (Folder), but it didn't work.

I installed as \sdmmc\mapking\maps\map files (without folder), it didn't work too.

This is the only map i loaded to the map folder. So, why didn't it work?

Perhaps this is the first you are installing MapKing Landmark.
In map folder there should be four map directories.
If you remove 2 then there should be 2 left

Maps/
SGMY - contain detail files for maps to work
EMX- Brunei
WMX - Malaysia
SGX - Singapore

So the new map folder will have
SGMY
SGMY_OCt2010
EMX

Total 3 folders

Hi Kalaiyan,

I have extracted the SGMY_Oct2010 files into this folder under the Mapking Landmark Map sub-folder. I have removed the other 3 files namely EMX, WMx and SGX and the PND cannot detect the SGMY maps. What's wrong?:helpsos: TQ

Malsing has not updated their maps for Mapking Landmark users. Is there any other free source that we can download for the latest maps for the Asean countries? Is there a way that any sifu can let us know on how to convert the MFM papago maps to suit the Mapking Landmark usage? Many many thx in advance.:thumbup::thumbup:

Just copy the WMX .hdr file into SGMY-2010 and now I can use it perfectly and flawlessly with Singapre and Malaysia maps together.:D

Hi ehem8244,

I have changed the hdr file from WMX but now the system says cannot route to the destination. Can you please provide the hdr file for the SG/MY file for me to test. TQ
