I wonder how long it will be before someone can be gracious enough to share the latest Australia WhereIs map produced by TomTom.

Australian sold devices that came with Sensis mapping have not had an update from NNG since the last Sensis release. There is a TomTom 2105.06 release floating around but nobody seems to know where it came from. I know at least one person that has spoken to their device provider and also TomTom and he was not able to get any satisfaction as to what was happening with updates. But I suspect it is NNG that is at fault here as they provide the complete package including maps. It is then up to NNG to provide timely map updates when published to those that are willing to purchase them. Hopefully at some stage new TomTom maps will become available. We live in hope anyway.

Cheers, Ian

Hmmmm, looks like the TomTom map for Australia 2016 release may not eventuate, being June 2016, there would have been two new releases by now. Looks like one will have to bite the bullet and take out a subscription (again). NNG needs to lift its game and pull their finger out :tease:

It may well be that the transfer of Whereis mapping to TomTom has not been as smooth as anticipated. TomTom's own maps for AU & NZ are also running late but have been promised by the end of June. If that's the case it may be that other providers like NNG will eventually get the TomTom mapping data but when is anyone's guess.

WhereIs, now TomTom is always very slow when it comes to Australian Map release. NNG should have released it by now.

Well, its now August and no sign of TomTom 2016 .Q2 Australia Map. NNG is very slack for not releasing it.

Looks like its dead in the water.
