Look careful and read on the downloadsite. Often the site likes/wants you to d/l a d/l manager or something. After unchecking a box the download most of times starts without trouble.

Or you could dowload from the torrent in post 123

I have tried everything, but the site always adds an .exe which I'm not prepared to open. Any help would be welcome.

After opening the rar map files I don't see the map files. Anything I do wrong?

.rsrc, .data, .hhh0, .hhh1, .rdata, .SAN0, .SAN1, .tls, .CERTIFICATE

That are not the map files, none of them. You downloaded something else.

Something strange.
Is it me, or are these 2014.Q4 Netherlands maps older then the 2014.Q3?
I have checked the 2014.Q4 map Netherlands visually and noticed that many road changes are gone.
To be sure I replaced the 2014.Q4 maps with 2014.Q3 to be sure. And I was right.
Am I the only one that noticed this? Or are there more members that can confirm this (old) map syndrome.?
PS I downloaded the torrent that was provided in the forum.

As far as I can tell, using IGOVIEW to check the file header, the Q3 is Q3 and the Q4 is Q4. Timestamp fits.
In the past, I found many errors in Navteq maps (now HERE).
Switch to TomTom.
