Usually, the best way to keep up with speedcams in iGO is to completely delete all the files in content\speedcam and just copy/paste a current speedcam.txt file. The program will automatically create the files it needs the next start.
If it ain't broke don't fix it! ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

If you add now another txt or/and spd file to the folder, it will be added to the speed camera DB (spdb file). This is why your original file was larger.
