Navigon Europe Q3/2016 Fresh Maps MN7 & MN8

I want to install the files on a Navigon 70/71 Plus but when i install the maps the GPS restarts when i chose destination. What did i do wrong? Are the maybe files missing?

Ich habe eine VW Up mit Garmin und jetzt alles runter geladen. Meine frage ist: wofur sind die extra .nfs dateien eigentlich. Ohne die funktioniert das Navi auch.

Und sollte das so drin, oder sollte man das mapdrawer umbenennen zur MapDrawer.nfs (wie das original)

Und die blitzer, .POM in poi und die .nfs auch? oder .nfs wieder im map folder?

The nfs file is used for transport between Garmin (server) and you Navigon.

About the other nfs files keep them they don,t bother.

If you have installed the files on a memory card, it must be recognized as an extension of the GPS memory.Once it is recognized it is renamed NAVIGONSD. I had the same problem as you, before attempting a reset make a backup of the gps memory.

Once the sd card is renamed NavigonSD, it's simple :

1. Open the folder NavigonSD.
2. Create a folder Navigon in NavigonSD.
3. in this folder Navigon create a folder Map and another POI.
4. Open the folder Map and put all the cards you want and all NFS files undermentioned :

France.map and another countries
all GTAcitymodels_eu
basicphonemefetcher
brunnel_eu
citymodels_eu
countryprofiles
landmarks_eu
landmarks_small_eu
mapdrawer
phenome_eu
phenomefetcher
phonemev3_eu
poitcats
realityview_eu
sat_eu
terrain_eu
tmc_eu
truckattributes_eu

For POI open the folder POI and put in the folder undermentioned :
ALL_HOTSPOTWARNER_EU.pom
ALL_POIWARNER_EU.pom
HOTSPOTWARNER_EU.NFS
POIWARNER_EU.NFS
I also added all the .pom language files from the memory of my GPS in the folder.

5. Once all the items have been copied, close Navigon SD disconnect your gps from the computer
6. Go to configuration, click on map representation, go to page 2 and click on Country and select Q3 2016.
7.The gps will restart automatically and it's good.

Yes. I don,t think that the GTA will work but you always can try it.

Hola aver si alguien seria tan amable de alludarme e descargado el archivo para un garmin seat porta sistema, e sacado el archivo spain.map y lo e cambiado dela carpeta map dentro dela carpeta nevigon,el gps lo reconoce pero no se me ve imagen alguna voz si alguien me podría alluda que no doy con ello un saludo.

Thanks for the files!

I do have some problems with the speech recognition. Once I have replaced the old .map files with the updated ones, the maps work fine with the update. But in the main navigation menu, it shows "map display" (kaartweergave) on the button where " spreech regognition" (spraakgestuurd) stond.

so I only changed the .map files of some countries of my interest and deleted the other .map files I don't care about. no .nfs or whatever. Any ideas?

btw I have a navigon 70 device, should the GTA maps work? I tried, but no succes yet.
