Ok so i have an ancient navigon 40easy that i updated to 42 premium using a similar site. maps out of date. I only want the uk map. Will these work on my nav 40/42?

**EDIT** I just swapped united knigdom maps and it would only load republic ireland, netherlands and isle of man* did i miss some files?

btw i accidentally deleted the oriogional navigon 40 easy back up. Is this available anywhere?

It's not only to swap the country map. You need to replace all .nfs files also.

You have to dig in a little deeper how to do at the forum.
