Hello forum,

I have a Navigon 70/71 Premium Car in the Seat Ibiza with maps from 2013.
I tried to find recent maps for it and found the Q4/2020 update here in the forum and tried copying a single map to the device, but it seems it cannot read it/is incompatible.

Does anyone know what the last update for my device is and where to get those maps?

You need to replace not only the cards but also additional NFS files.Maps don't work without these files.

Ah OK, I see!

That explains it..... Sadly the internal storage is too small to hold that update I found.
I need to find out if it is possible to transfer the maps to an external SD card...

1. Format your sd card (Fat32) Use min8gb, max16gb sdcard
2. Make a new folder in sdcard and rename to NAVIGON
3. Copy new poi, map/nfs files to NAVIGON folder
4. Restart your Navigon with this sd card.
5. Go to Settings/Show on map and choose New Map. Navigon will self restart.

I have not had success with moving the maps to the sd card.
I created the NAVIGON folder and tried moving the "Maps" directory into it, that did not work.
Then I tried moving the maps directly into the NAVIGON folder, same result.....

Any ideas?

Navigon went bust in 2018 and the last map there is from Q4 2020, Why not use Automapa software which installs, and works flawlessly on Navigon 70/71 hardware ?
