Activating a 1005 Map Without a Meta Code

Special v1005 maps

Activation of maps with equivalent metas. If you have a map that has no meta, you may be able to activate it if there is an equivalent meta.

So, in simple terms (Iberia_1005_8767 example):

Download/decompress/copy the map that you want to activate (but for which you don't have the meta).
Delete the relavent .meta file
Copy into the map folder the .meta file from the other map (same country - compatible as number) for the same country
Activate the map with the usual system.

For example:

Copy map Iberia_1005_8767
Delete map Iberia_1005_8767 meta file (Iberia-101441.meta)
Copy the meta of Iberia_1005_8819 (Iberia-101483.meta) that has meta code into map 1005_8767 folder
Unlock the map.

The equivalent numbers are:

1005_8763 = 1005_8764 = 1005_8765 = 1005_8823 = Truck
1005_8767 = 1005_8768 = 1005_8769 = 1005_8821 = 1005_8819

Very important: only when the size of the meta files that we are going to change are the same

Okay I have a problem. I want to activate the map Europe_west - 1005_8763. Is there a substitute meta code for this map? I tried with Western_Europe 1005_8763 (both have 101437.meta) but got dct error.
Any suggestions? I can't take another map due to 2GB limited internal memory.

so the maps 8762, 8763,8764 and 8765 are not compatible with 8819. Right?

So way are you trying the 8763
You can use the Europe_west - 1005_8819 wich has a metacode,

because the 1005_8819 has less features like IQroutes, ALG en HNR.

So this means you don,t need all the features
Cspeech and ASR has no function because you don,t have a microphone
HNR is only usefull in Russia and Greece.
So some useful functions for the XL are IQ routes & Alg
and maybe TTS if it works on the XL.

Europe_west - 1005_8767 with IQ routes & HNR.
The equivalent metafile is the 1005.8819
Unfortenly I tried it and it works but no IQ routes and Alg
(The chart is wrong)

I think the chart is right because IQ routes ,ALG and HNR are not included in the 1005.8819 metafile nor in the Europe_west - 1005_8767 map (according to the chart)
8762, 8763,8764 and 8765 do have it but the meta files are not available and apparently there is no alternative (yet).
