We've identified an error in a lot of the new 1025 maps which might prevent them from being activated successfully (assuming they have a matching meta code of course).
The error is in the *.pna file that resides in each map folder...luckily it is easily fixed and you don't need to download the map again.
For this example, we will be using the Europe_1025_9389 map:
To fix the problem you need to open the Europe_1025_9389 map folder and locate the Europe.pna file > right click on the Europe.pna file and open it with Notepad and make the following changes:
Edit out the following text in red and save the file:
ID=Europe_forokeys.pna995077800
1025
build=9389
id=3149458
It should now look like this:
ID=Europe.pna995077800
1025
build=9389
id=3149458
Once completed, save & close the file & activate the map using the normal procedure
Update: So far we've been unable to find a map that won't activate successfully before the edit detailed above however it WILL affect the name of the map shown on the device.
Therefore, we are leaving this warning in place and will leave it up to the individual members discretion whether they would like to make the edit to correct the name or not.
