Europe West 995 8551 can,t be used because there is no meta code available.
So please start reading carefully

The map is nearly 2 years old so use the latest map

Meta codes are the serial numbers for the maps...if a particular map doesn't have a meta code available, then it can't be activated.

You can use FastActivate tool => tomtom-tools/fastactivate-latest-update-t19452.html
Put this tool in the root of your Tomtom device, launch it and:

1) Update meta
2) Patch map (Map must be on your Tomtom of course ^^)
3) Patch navcore (Only need to do that step one time, or after updating/changing Tomtom's navcore)

Then you can close this tool and reboot your Tomtom.

Hello, After several tries, I can not install the map 1035.9675 Western Europe, I tried with my old map 995.8510 and copied the file Western Europe in, but no results.

I cloned my old map, then copied and pasted from the Western Europe folder, on the GPS the Tomtom logo lights up and then an hourglass appears and searches continuously, then nothing.

If anyone would have the gentiesse to kindly configure my card.

You should be following Holyhead's advice in post 2...the link to the map he gave you is working fine

I don,t know if it works but give it a try. Secure your original SD card and use a new
SD card for this installation or an old SD card you have and format this card FAT32.

NavCore 8.843 Carminat TomTom (NavCore special for RENAULT cars)

What to do?
~~~~~~~~~~~
0) Put a new sd-card in your Radio/Carminat and let create the folder "loopdir"

1) Download NC 8.843
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Extract "NC_8843_Full_Complete_Install_yDGpatch.zip" and copy folders and files to your sd-card.

2) In the loopdir is a file called "ttgo.bif. Copie this file to the root SD Card

3) Use map Europe 1035.9675. Unpack it and
Copy the new map to your SD card in its own folder.
When you open the map you see the individual files.
Not a map in a map.
4) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your SD Card root.
