Compatible map for XL IQ with 4GB memory mod ?

Postby Vaako » Tue May 23, 2023 5:51 pm

Can someone recommend me a Western Europe map that would be compatible to navcore and fit the 4GB storage space ?

Model: XL IQ Routes

Memory is upgraded from 2GB to 4GB.

Navcore v9.541 only is about 56mb in size I believe.

Does this navcore need the CSPEECH_* and ARP_* files ?

Update:

I ended up using 1110 map version.

Removed all files in the "INTERNAL" folder except "mapSettings.cfg"
Copied all content of Western_Europe_1110.11867 to the Western_Europe folder except CSPEECH and ARP files.

FastActivate needed the meta key that was not available yet when downloading the meta data true fastactive.
You simple have to put the meta key line into a file called "mymeta.txt".
EE CC 0A 7E AE AF 98 2A B4 C6 01 2F 2F 65 88 E6 Western_Europe-103734.meta ; Western_Europe_1110.11867

Still TomTom sends me regular emails saying that my old device doesn't support new maps anymore
