Hi,
I received an email from Tomtom stating that my Go750 Live will not be supported anymore.
Does this mean, there will be no "fastactivatable" maps be released in the future by Tomtom?

The opposite. TT have withdrawn support for this device BUT that's why we're still cracking maps/metas & using F/A etc so owners of these devices can still use latest maps/speedcams etc. The only thing you lose is the use of TTHome which is/was a waste of time anyway
All the time there are NAV2/NAV3 maps being produced for those millions of owners who still have supported devices, we'll carry on

You don't lose TT Home if you follow these directions:
1) Uninstall TomTom Home
2) Download last "good" version from [Please Register or Login to download file]
3) Install it without running ie, uncheck the 'Run Home' tick box when installation completes
4) Using Windows Explorer, or other file-commander,navigate to
C:\Program Files\TomTom HOME 2\xul (32 bit Windows)
or
C:\Program Files (x86)\TomTom HOME 2\xul (64 bit Windows)
and find application.ini file
5) Edit application.ini file (you might need admin privileges) and modify "Version=2.9.91.411" to "Version=2.9.94.450" (the latest TT Home versionnr.)
6) Run TomTom Home. It will believe to be running latest version 2.9.94.450 and therefore not pull the update. It's not my invention, I found it on the net, but I use it and it works
