Yes, you can put FastActivate in the Europe folder but it can be in the root also

Check inside the map folder...if it has been activated successfully, you will see this file: Europe-101603.meta.dct

Where do you store the map...is it on internal drive or is it on an SD card?

If you have it on an SD card, you must put a copy of ttgo.bif file from the internal drive to the SD card

The meta code is valid because both Holyhead and myself have checked it and it activates successfully on our devices

I wondering if you also have an SD card in it with navcore on it. If so is that navcore patched to.

If I understand it right the navcore is on the SD Card and patched.
The map is on the internal memory.

Map in the root if you open the map you see the individual files (not a map in a map)

Download a new FastAktivate and place it in the root

Use 1 (download meta.txt)

Use 2 (activate map)

Use 3 (you got the message patched or already been patched)


If you still got the message map not found place FastAktivate in the map and use it)

If it still not works then possible the map is corrupt download a new map.

Yes, you can try another map download but this one has activated successfully so I suspect the navcore might be corrupt.
I would copy everything from the internal drive to a safe place and reinstall the official navcore and try it again.
