high-level-c-automotive maps

Postby ronand » Mon May 27, 2024 11:54 am

Hi, there hasn't been any recent meta codes for high-level-c-automotive maps (UK/Ireland or Western Europe). Can any other map be converted to use on a Carminat (non-live)? I'm not terribly familiar with tomtom devices.

You need the 1130_12307 map(s) of which there are sadly no current metas for.
The last map version for the Carminat (non-live) we have metas for is the 1110_11862 maps from May-2023 which is one option?

However, it may still be possible to actually buy (and therefore obviously then create/share the meta code) for the latest maps by using a tool called TomTom Home - End of Life Bypass (search the internet for this) but not sure it would work on these Carminat devices as they do seem a bit different but maybe worth digging a bit deeper & trying?
If you do then please report back & let us know how you get on & good luck :023:

Thanks. Yes I can buy them through TomTom Home but I was hoping for an alternative first. I have the 1110 Maps working.

Maybe have a deeper scan/search around here for "carminat maps" or possibly even under "Renault" ??

The only solution for now for Carminat Is just to buy the Europe full map and generate the meta and share it with others.
Maybe we can get a few peoples and share the cost (it shows 60EUR for 1year update), I would gladly appreciate it if we can do it like this.

Yes, I bought it today from TomTom France site in a discount promotion, it was 49EUR vs 44EUR from Eastern Europe and I thought also to community since in the past I saved something due to the great support in the forum.
Glad to know that is working, also next 3 updates we are secure since pack was a 1yr, 4 updates.
