I am actually on french map France 1055_10383 with nav 9.541.
then I need to update it please, so i want to know what is the new one for my Tomtom.
I don't really understand how to find be myself i m not sure that 1075.10995 is good

France 1055_10383 was a strange choice as it's really for the Renault Carminat system but obviously it's ok on a normal device too.

So if you refer to the tutorial below, you just need to look at the brown line (the Carminat series) which shows that the latest version in that series is 1075.10998

Yes, you can use this map as it contains some of the useful advanced features like ALG...however it doesn't include ASR but your device doesn't have a microphone anyway, so it turns out to be a good choice.

So I will use the 1075.10998 card as you indicated to me.
i do this for running my Gps

1- do update fastactivate
2- update Meta.txt
2.2- put voices from my save
3- patch Maps, etc..
4- patch navcore

So I started the gps, then it stays fixed on the screen with the direction arrow icon and then after 30 seconds the gps turns off.
What is the solution if there is one?

well absolutely not
would this be the wrong map for my gps?

No, but you can always try another one to test it...the 1080 series has just been released.

You never said what device you have or what navcore it has installed so I can only guess as to what's going on. I would recommend you hold down the power button to do a hard reset or do it via a reset pin hole on the device. Failing that I would do a full backup > wipe > re-install it from scratch.

A One XL is an old 32MB RAM device and you are trying to use advanced maps that need 64MB of RAM to run which is probably the cause of your system locking up.

You need to use more limited maps (EG: France 1080.11181) or installed a specially modified navcore that includes a swap file which will help.
