Unfortunately that map is essentially for later NAV3 devices, not an older device like yours.

Just play on an older navcore device and the map works. Need to try both Navcores

I agree with buffon44 above that IF the NAV3 map is still small enough to fit and (obviously there's a meta for it) then NAV3 maps can be used without optimising/tweaking.
An additional comment has been added to the original "How To" post on another forum which says:-
** PLEASE NOTE that only if the (usually larger) NAV3 map doesn't fit your memory you will need to remove redundant files (those not needed for a NAV2 device) to make a bit more space by following the instructions; but if there's still plenty of free space in your memory then you don't need to do this and it will run on you NAV2 device as usual.

In "Tools" you patch navcore of the device if not already done.
In "Map Downloader" you choose Kind "high-level-u", Version "1135", Region "Europe-West".
Download to device or folder.
You add speecams, quickgpsfix.

In "Tools" you update meta and finally in "Installed Content" you activate the map.

I've never heard about this tool, but it seems so cool, I will try it asap

Just a quick question though.
How do I know the size of the maps, to be sure it will fit under 2gb ?
Is it the "high-level-u" param that defines the available max size ? Or am I missing something else in the tool ?

The param "Kind" depends on the device : "high-level-u" is for Nav2 devices, like your One IQ.
Just before downloading, you are informed of the map size and if metacode is known or absent.

The size mainly depends on map coverage. An interesting tool : coverages. Credit to Poteo_Roke.
