Meta map issue for those who may have a problem with this one.
73 C9 6B 05 96 E9 60 98 3E 35 43 58 15 69 C9 40 US_South_Atlantic-101948.meta ; US South Atlantic 1030_9520
but the Map is called USA_South_Atlantic_1030_9520
So you either change the map file folder to US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 to match the meta file, or I as did change the Meta code by adding 'U'.. ie..meta code

Thanks but this is the sector for the 1035 maps (not 1030)

US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 has a metacode and the map is not called USA I just downloaded it.
USA_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 is a completly differend map and no metacode is availble
You can activate the US map and everythink is fine you don,t have to change names at all.
You can change every map file folder in a name you like Luxemburg etc. Even with that name
the map can be aktivated.
I think you mixed up some things

Holyhead is right...US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 & USA_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 are two different maps

You should download the correct map for the meta code that is published otherwise it won't work properly...I accept that you're saying that it worked for you but that's not normally the case

What you talking about is a so-called equivalent map that means that you can use the metafile
from the US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 (has a meta code)
for the USA_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 (has no meta code)

You don,t have to change names at all
So I think by coincident you used the equivalent system.
You can change US in USA and both are activate.

You are right Guys/Girls. I now see what I've done here. US 9520 has a meta and no map (as was said.) USA 9520 has map but no meta. So yes I mixed it up, my bad. Although the meta seemed to work and fast activate gave it the ok, the map freezes..so no good.So went for an older version which has links, which are down.
Luckily I can go back to 985 version I have on my pc. Thanks for the advice.

What are you talking about the US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 has a map and a meta code.
If the map is not on this forum then you ask the Uploader (Popeye) if such a map is available
or you looking somewhere else on the web. If a meta code is available there must be a map too.

Have you read this topic carefully (I don,t think so)
Otherwise yous should know there was no problem with the US meta code and also there is no problem with the Benelux code

I have no problem with the US meta code, I don't even use this map.
Still I have a problem to activate map Benelux 1035-9676.(dct error)
Is this not the right topic for my question?

Copy only FastAktivate to the root off the device (not the file Integrated_meta.txt)

Start FastAktivate
1. Update meta.txt
2. Patch map

Done

I tried again to downlad the meta file by FA and now I got the correct meta file dated 28082019
Now I could succesfully patch the Benelux 1035-9676 map
Problem solved, thanks for your help
