Sorry I am kinda new to this. I downloaded Europe_1GB_West but it doesn't work because the meta code is not in the meta.txt file. I also cannot find the meta code anywhere online. I really need this 1GB version of western europe because I cannot fit anymore data on my tomtom. Could anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

The only meta codes we have are the ones where some generous person has bought the map from TT and donated their meta code (serial number) to the community.

If you open FastActivate and select option 1 to update the meta, you'll get an 'Updated_meta.txt' file...contained in that file is ALL of the meta's we have collected to date.

If the meta code for the map you're interested in is not there, you have two options:

1. Buy the map from TT and donate the meta to the community yourself
2. Look at the meta's we've already got to find the next best alternative

There is no point in asking for something we obviously don't have.

What Do I do with meta codes that are posted or the "updated _meta.txt" that is created by fastactivate?
I have tried renaming "updated_meta.txt" to "meta".
I've put it in the map folder and also left it in the root.
but it still comes back with incomplete map(s): .... .dct ERROR

Rename to meta.txt in the root of the device and run Fast-Activate.
Verify that you are patching the exact map that you have installed with a meta code present in the meta.txt file.

For instance:
1025.3089 <> 1025.3086
Central_Europe <> Europe_Central

I think I see the problem now the uptated meta seems to only go to 1005
I assume I add the correct posted meta to that list?

Update.(for those who are reading looking for answers)
I copied and pasted the meta codes people have kindly posted into the meta.txt file put some extra spaces in so it matched the others. Then used fastactivate and no errors.(It worked)

Okay, your problem has been identified. An important step for the solution.

Take a look here: 1025 Meta codes.
Just copy&paste all meta map data into the meta.txt file.
