Only maps that have a matching meta code listed on this page can be activated...if it doesn't, you've wasted your time:

Run FastActivate.exe on the Go 720 > select option 1 > a file called Updated_meta.txt is created > rename that file to META.txt > select option 2 to activate the map

Hi, for france 10.11 direct in my tomtom patch with fastactivate... navcore ok ...card ok....yessss^^...but i want europe 10.11.9046 in my sd card but fastactivate no reconized my sd card for activate..have you one solution? my tomtom is go 520 sry but it's a same for a 720 (normaly)...ty all best regards

Copy ttgo.bif from the internal drive to the SD card and try again...

Or if the SD card is big enough, move everything from the internal drive to the SD card and then run FastActivate

i have copy ttgo.bif and fastactivate patch my card...ok..but i can't go to..my tomtom puts me: you can not use this card on this gps...sniff..internal drive is to small..

You need to upgrade the bootloader so your TT will recognise a larger SD card.

i have make that, i have rename "system" with ttsystem and i have replace in my tomtom...reboot and......blue screenn...and..that all lol...that work no good...i have again replace my old ttsystem and ok i have again my tomtom but always no europe card...my tomtom detect cards but no working...in 2 years ago, i have make europe 9 and that work good with my tomtom, but now i have format my tomtom and cards and that no working :-(

I have put out my sd card...format...clearflash....write europe card...but always no working...

DCT ok for europe card....but just no working..

I tested with an old card and it does not work either

Your replies are very confused and you are not following the instructions correctly.

The instructions did not tell you to do anything with ttsystem file at all...this is why it crashed & blue screened.

Forget about the SD card & the Europe map for now....tell me if the Go 520 is working or not...and does it have the France map installed and working?

yess my go 520 working with map france 10.11 no probleme...i have a probleme just for map europe in sd card...
instruction for upgrade bootloader : Replace your current bootloader [file named "system"] with this 5.5128 bootloader [also named "system"].
Boot your device, which will update you to 5.5128.
Now you can use any size SD/SDHC card that's needed....but i don't have file named system in my tomtom..

Ok, good.

Don't worry about there not being a system file already there...just extract the new system file to your internal drive and reboot the Go 520.

After reboot try the SD card again

I have make a test with benelux ...benelux works good in my sd card...I think it's the European map 1011.9046 no working with my GPS...
i have make a test with europ centrale 900.4602 that works good in my SD card...my problem is not my sd card or my system..probleme is map 1011.9046 no works in my tomtom go 520
i will wait for a new europe card for test, 1015? I pray ^^
