are there any known issues with Europe 1090 maps on Renault Carminat?
The navigation gave an error: Map not suitable for this device, I downloaded the 11422 version.

Nav was on 1025, I tried 1050 to see if I was doing wrong. But 1050 was working just fine!
Any ideas?
Otherwise I will just upgrade until the most latest version what will work on the car.

I seem to remember somebody having an issue but can't find it now.

Series 1095 will be out soon, so stick with 1050 until that happens

I have a Renault Megane 2009 with Carminat TomTom v8.842 and i use v1090.11422 map version.
It has working fine, and i installed other cars without problem.

Hello,
what is the meaning of "Maps cannot be activated without meta code." on the description of this download page?
And what is the meaning of the navecore version on the image with the compatibility between maps and navecore versions?
My Go500 has system version 16.201. And the navecore versions stop at 12.xxx on the image.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. The journey seems to long. I will just try to give it to someone, and hope that this person will be able to patch it and enjoy it.
There should be a quick steps tutorial to understand the whole process:
- do something on your navecore version?
- find the suitable map - weblink
- find the metacode - weblink
- install Jdownloader - weblink
- download the map
etc.

May seem tedious BUT you'll basically be able to continue updating your device with the latest maps/speedcams etc FOR FREE but if you'd prefer to BUY a new device with "Lifetime updates" (which are only for a few years before TT pull the plug on supporting them [to encourage idiots to buy yet another "new/improved" model]) then that's your prerogative I guess

To be honest, navigation is now done on smartphone with Gmaps or Waze + mobile data or downloaded map offline. So i stopped using my TomTom long ago.
I just not wanted to throw it away while it still works, so i will put an ad to give it.
I still can not figure the navecore version gibberish.
