Start reading
*) Recommended Navcore 9.541 device
[Please Register or Login to download file] --
1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the content.
--
2) Unpack the* navcore (winrar ) and place folders and files on your Device.
--
3) Reset The Device (minimal 15 sec) and start it till the announcement "No map found"
--
4) Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the individual files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.
(plain map no speedcams,poi,etc)
How to read the chart.

5) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your device
http://www.navitotal.com/viewtopic.php?f=127&t=19452 Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 1
After 1 go to the root Device and rename the file
Updated_meta in
meta
Select 2
Done.
6) Give a 15 sec reset and start the device if everything works fine
just then you can ad speedcams etc to the map
We like to hear the result Good or Bad.
And keep away from TomTom Home.

....and now blocked in Germany too (apparently by Zippyshare themselves and not as first suspected, by Vodafone, Virgin, Sky, BT etc)

In wich country,s are you really going to drive with your TomTom this year.
Have you installed the navcore on the internal memory or on a SD Card.
Furthermore, what is your bootloader
Which bootloader do you have
Checking bootloader (
the only reliable method)
Enter a device reset 15 sec.
Then turn on the device and hold the start button until you
get info screen. Which bootloader is there.

Hi,
Yes it's installed direct to the device,no SD card used, need UK & Ireland.
The boot loader is S5.5120 if this helps.

The best map you can use
United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland 1025_9379
You can delete the Cspeech file
[Please Register or Login to download file] The bootloader is allright and at least you can use SD Cards from 16GB
