The holyhead link may just be a browser issue. I'll try again. However the rar program from Windows software deposit in Windows ten was installed today.

OK I found another winrar to install and it all unpacked ok, now I am complete the satnav is working, I wonder though I only have a 1gb space on there, is it too much to get parts of the EU on there too? I read its a lot of data nowadays.

Anyway thanks for you help all of you and baring with me on this!

Can you install older maps, of western eu, alongside the uk Ireland ones just installed? I don't go abroad but it would be nice if it were not a lot of trouble.

Well, you've had a limited amount of success but you didn't make it very easy at all and even then, it's only because Holyhead & myself did all of the work for you. It's true that we have a certain amount of patience but that won't last.

Anyway yes, you can install other older maps together with the UK & ROI map you've just installed providing it is compatible with your navcore and you have the space available.
